It is always fun to break traditional and get creative at Christmas. Color is inspirational; as soon as I pick a color palette I am on my way to decorating utopia. Changing up your palette every year or two doesn’t mean all is lost for your collection of time honored ornaments and holiday paraphernalia. You can still use neutral and complementary colors along with silver, white or gold to a create a festive environment.
How fun would it be to trick your home out in pink! Such a whimsical and romantic color at Christmas. As long as you don’t bathe your house in pepto bismol, pink can be tasteful and a relaxing environment to retreat to during what can be a stressful time of year.
This wreath of pink protea makes a great entrance and is very modern chic…
Start with a warm glow of holiday lights and glass balls…
And bring it home with a fully decorated tree…
I love the little button tree, which could be translated to any palette depending on your button selection. What ever color you choose to decorate with this season, if it makes you happy it will fill your home with the joy of the holiday season!
